S-Cube Diplomacy is a Cambridge-based social enterprise that helps youth, families, and communities build healthier, more connected futures through S the Power of 3 – Sport, Social Norms, and STEAM.
The story
What is S-Cube
S-Cube Diplomacy grew from experiences spanning engineering education, undergraduate study abroad, Peace Corps community health service, field-based development engineering work, graduate international development practice, and international learning exchange across Ethiopia, Germany, Morocco, Canada, and the United States. These experiences shaped a simple principle: sustainable development works best when communities are partners in identifying needs, connecting resources, and creating solutions from local to global.
Our Year-Round Framework

S³ is what we do. 3C – Community, Campus, & City – is how we connect people, knowledge, and resources.
Sport
Healthy Bodies. Healthy Minds. Healthy Communities.
We use recreation, biking, soccer, basketball, walking, and wellness activities to promote physical health, teamwork, and confidence for inclusive education/ training.
Social Norms
Building Belonging Across Communities.
We create opportunities for immigrant families, multilingual learners, neighbors, and community organizations to learn from one another through cultural exchange, volunteerism, and community leadership.
Steam
Learning by Solving Real Problems.
Using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) / Project-Based Learning (PBL), and hands-on activities, we help participants build practical skills and spark innovation in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics — opening pathways to future careers.
